Lucky Shamrock & Violet Rose Bookmark

A]   These are the only materials you will require:
          Emerald Green Paper, for Shamrock
          Pink Violet Paper for Compass Rose
          Ribbon for Back of Shamrock
          Scissors, Pencil & Glue Gun
B]   Here is a template of the Lucky Shamrock. It is approximately 3 1/2" from side to side. Cut this out and trace onto the Emerald Green card stock paper.


C]    If desired, write a message or a quote on the Bottom of the Shamrock. Make a little hole and insert the ribbon so that about 1/2" is now on the other side.

  • Each Day I thank my Lucky Stars for YOU!

D]   This image illustrates the 'top' of the Shamrock with a little ribbon showing. Make your 'Compass Rose' from your Red Violet Paper. Review the PDF of Compass Rose instructions for how to make this Rose. [Link Below]
You may change the color of the Rose and Ribbon to match the sentiment you wish:
  • Red Rose = Love & Passion
  • Pink Rose = Sweetness & Admiration
  • Peach Rose = Appreciation & Gratitude
  • Yellow Rose = Joy & Friendship
  • White Rose = Innocence & Remembrance
E]   Glue overtop the ribbon, place the Rose to the wet glue and secure both to the Shamrock.

​Compass Rose

There are an infinite number of ways to colorize and personalize these roses. I am fascinated by all the variations I am able to achieve. Coming soon will be a video of how to make these charming and beautiful roses. I'll also try to illustrate how to colorize them and make them even more excruciatingly beautiful.
